About custom orders

After an autumn and a winter during which I cut down on custom orders a lot I finally feel better. I’m really grateful that you guys – all my customers – have stuck with me through it all, and can now present you with the following changes…

From doing nearly only custom orders by way of doing NO custom orders I now would like to try a middle way. I still feel uncomfortable taking your money before I’m done sewing your order, as I sometimes take a bit to fill it, and so I simply ask that you e-mail me a query, if you want something in particular.

I will then reply with an estimated time; if I have no other orders waiting it will be about two weeks, and if I have a queue it may be longer than that. And if you are okay with the waiting time I give, I will get to sewing, and once the order is ready to ship I will e-mail you a PayPal money request. Once you pay per the instructions I will post your order within two business days. If I don’t hear from you or get a payment within two weeks I will put the pads up in my shop, for others to purchase.

I still have my shop as before, but you may also take a look at my fabrics, my prices and send me an e-mail (kaia-at-procraftination-dot-se). I hope this model will work out for all of us; I know that I have been slow on stocking up on Etsy, and hope that this will help me get going again.
